This is my ‘I am still smiling in the rain’ face! Just trying to make light of things when they don’t necessarily go my way.
Just an overall really long day today. I woke up and things started off fairly well. Devotion time was powerful and somewhat convicting. I am paying attention. Work was busy but good.
At lunch realized my car battery was super weak and when I checked and alternator, it was not putting out charge. I jumped off the truck and made it home in the early afternoon. Called around and couldn’t find a part, so I had to order. Hopefully everything will be in tomorrow. I really didn’t want to spend a couple of hundred on my old red beauty, but I need another 100k out of her. She is sitting just under 300k now. Been a great truck but not too fun to work on in the rain with a bunch of crappy tools.
Prayers for a life lost and the ones helped thanks her being a donor. God is completely in control even when we have a hard time understanding, we must hang on to our faith.
Thank you for my friends that reached out to me today. I have been lonely and missing my kiddos this week. Just knowning people care is powerful and I am thankful for my friends.
